Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 2026
InnotechInsider covers AI, startups, EVs, security, space, and the technology shaping tomorrow. How we decide what to run, and how it's held to a standard, is below. See also Ethics & AI Disclosure for how the content pipeline itself works, and Corrections for how we fix mistakes.
What we cover
Stories are pulled from what multiple independent outlets, Hacker News, Reddit, and Google News are actually covering right now — not a fixed quota per category. Coupon and deal roundups, daily puzzle-answer posts, and novelty content unrelated to technology are explicitly off-mission and get removed when they slip through; we audit for this periodically.
Sourcing standard
- Every article should cite real, authoritative external sources as inline links — not a disconnected "sources" list with no connection to the claims it's backing.
- A claim involving an arrest, a lawsuit, a breach, a death or safety incident, a leaked document, or a specific financial figure gets checked against real reporting before it runs unsourced.
- We never invent a quote, a statistic, a source, or an event to fill a gap in the story.
Duplicate and off-mission content
Because story discovery runs continuously, the same development occasionally gets drafted more than once. When that happens, we keep the most complete/recent version and merge the rest into it with a redirect, rather than leaving multiple thin, near-identical pages live splitting the same story's signal.
Bylines
See Ethics & AI Disclosure for exactly what a byline on this site does and doesn't claim.
Corrections and removal
Handled under our separate Corrections Policy. Removal requests for reasons other than factual error (e.g. a privacy concern) can be sent to info@innotechinsider.com and are reviewed case by case.
