Ethics & AI Disclosure

We'd rather you know exactly how this site works than guess. This page says it plainly.
How articles get made
InnotechInsider's content pipeline works like this: a script scans RSS feeds, Hacker News, Reddit, and Google News for stories multiple independent sources are covering right now; Google Gemini drafts an original article from that topic (never copying or closely paraphrasing the source coverage); a hero image is sourced from Unsplash or Pexels; the draft is published automatically, several times a day, at varied times and lengths depending on how much story there actually is to tell.
That means: most articles on this site are AI-drafted and published without an individual human editing pass before they go live. We're not going to pretend otherwise, and we're not running the text through a "humanizer" or anything else designed to obscure that fact or evade AI-content detection — we hold the pipeline to a written house style (banned clichés, sourcing rules, honest-length-per-story) instead.
What a byline means here
InnotechInsider Staff is the honest default for pipeline-generated content with no individual byline attached. The named bylines you'll see on some articles (e.g. "Ava Sinclair," "Marcus Vale") are organizational beat labels, not individually reported pieces by a specific credentialed journalist — their bios say only what beat they cover, with no claimed years of experience, interviews, or credentials, because none of that would be true. If a real person is ever actually attached to a byline, we'll say so, with a real, verifiable bio.
What we check before and after publishing
- Every generated article is checked for banned clichéd phrasing, headline-template
overuse, and other "reads like generic AI" tells (
scripts/ai-tells-lint.mjs) — a rolling audit, not a one-time cleanup. - Claims involving arrests, lawsuits, breaches, deaths or safety incidents, leaked documents, or specific financial figures are flagged for extra scrutiny, and we verify the underlying claim against real reporting before fixing or publishing them.
- Near-duplicate stories, off-mission content, and thin pieces get merged, removed, or rewritten — see Corrections for how we handle mistakes you catch that we didn't.
What we don't do
- We don't invent quotes, sources, statistics, or events.
- We don't create fake author personas, AI-generated headshots, or fake credentials.
- We don't use "AI humanizer" tools or anything else designed to evade AI-content detection.
- We don't run fake reviews, fake testimonials, or fake "as seen in" badges.
